The Book of Kings
The Book of Kings is a book in the Hebrew Bible and two books in the Christian Old Testament. It closes the Deuteronomistic history, a past filled with Israel likewise including the books of Joshua and Judges and the Books of Samuel.
Scriptural observers accept the Books of Kings (See : Video) were composed to give a philosophical clarification to the obliteration of the Kingdom of Judah by Babylon in c. 586 BCE and to give an establishment to a return from Babylonian exile.The two books of Kings present a past filled with old Israel and Judah, from the passing of King David to the arrival of Jehoiachin from detainment in Babylon-a time of exactly 400 years.Scholars will quite often regard the books as comprising of a first release from the late seventh century BCE and of a second and last version from the mid-sixth century BCE.
